The Research On Keerqin Mongolian Saddle Making Technology

Before the popularity of car, saddle became an important tool for living, fighting, hunting, and competition. Saddle contains the development process of the nationality of Mongolia. The saddle culture and Mongolian culture is also same strain. Because of technology revolution of social life, handcraft techniques fade away from the stage of life. The masters of saddle making was fewer and fewer. Nowadays, the research of saddle production technology become a hot academic project.In2008, keerqin zuoyi houqi’s saddle production technology was selected national intangible cultural heritage protection projects list. The research is based on previous studies, determine the development of saddle from archaeological excavation, literature review and existing physical. This research focus on keerqin youyi houqi’s minority handmade artistry and conducted field fieldwork and analysis. It completes the full restore record of keerqin zuoyi houqi’s saddle making techniques and feasibility protection analysis. Also, the research give some suggestions for its development.The research is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, describes the research purpose, significance, previous work, this research intends to solve the problem, research methods and innovations of this article.The second chapter, the author studied from archaeological data and literature that interpret the development of ancient Chinese minority saddle. It also introduce the history of keerqin and articularity and representative of keerqin saddle.The third chapter is the core content of the paper. It is full record of bare saddle making for each parts pf galadaqi, keerqin zuoyi houqi. This chapter accordance with the order of saddle making process, focus on saddle making, especially on every parts of bare saddle making, and production technology as contained in a comprehensive exposition.The fourth chapter, author compares the differeces of keerqin saddle, erdos saddle, baerhu saddle, and kaerka saddle. Meanwhile, author use of a chart showing the difference between keerqin zuoyi houqi saddle and xilinguole sunite youqi saddle. Secondly, author did research and feedback about the sales and usage of galadaqi bare saddle. Saddle is essential for life of Mongolian. In this chapter, author describe the relevant of culture issue of saddle, including customs, taboos with a brief overview.The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The summary of the main work of this paper. it is to explore the characteristics and impact of saddle making skill and to protect and develop the production techniques put forward their own proposals, I think we should go to consider both from a technical and cultural levels.In this paper, author give a comprehensive direct restore of saddle production technology. Author use a lot of pictures, and summarize large number of documents, contribute to protect saddle production technology. The development of saddle influence the development of saddle culture. The saddle culture and Mongolian culture is also same strain. For handmade techniques, society need to conduct original ecological protection. Culture will have to advance with the times.
