Since the1990s, with the continuing changes in the political, economic, cultural,especially the rapid development of market economy, the development of popular cultureembarked on the prosperity road. Which, with its intuitive image Television Arts graduallydominate the aesthetic field. Pure literature usually was the cultural center. But with theimpact and squeeze, it gradually goes toward the edge. And production mode of literary wasalso affected. Therefore, the literature "shock" has become the cultural choice which canexpand survival and dissemination space.Literary forms must be changed to survive. In order to adapt to the external film cultureenvironment, many contemporary writers have to participate in interactive activities withTelevision Arts. Liu Zhenyun is one of them. As the most talented one in the new period, LiuZhenyun’s novel "a feather","mobile phone","My name is Liu Yuejin","ponder one thousandnine hundred forty-two" have been seen on the big screen and attracted enthusiastic responses.With the hit film, with the two identities writer and screenwriter Liu has become an importantsymbol of the popular culture. As a critic of comedy era, he is never far from reality. In thefirm interaction, he recognized that films are certainly unique value of art and writer couldwrite for it. He attached great importance to maintain the literary value of the novel, anddefend their own creative ideas and personality. The image attempt of Liu’s novels givesreference model to the new century literature.In this paper, we will analyze and summarize the image tendency of Liu’s novels undervisual cultural context. Apart from the introduction and conclusion, the paper will be dividedinto three parts. The first part describes the image context of Liu’s novel. The second partexplores the image qualities of Liu’s novels, with "mobile phone" and "My name is LiuYuejin". With Including secularization, desire transition aesthetic style of imagery, createvisual effects, colloquial reference to popularize the use of language and dramatic plot andmontage. The third part explore the value and limitations of Liu’s novel, in order to bringthinking steering to contemporary literature.
