LI Kai-Gu, as a famous Tang Dynasty Qidan general, was involved in the YingZhou Chaos in the late of Seventh Century. He participated in the Tang Dynasty tocounterinsurgency for Qidan, Mohe after belonging to Tang Dynasty. He was namedthe “Lord-Yan” in his living, who was a representative member in North-east minoritygeneral’s group. In this thesis, the study is basic on the Tang Dynasty in second half ofthe seventh century, as a clue to explore that time of the Tang Dynasty’s domestic andforeign, national policy and other important historical issues.The introduction describes the purpose and significance of the topic of this thesis,the research motion, the research feasibility, innovation and research methods.Body part consists of four parts, namely, discussing the background and lifeexperience of LI Kai-Gu, process of belonging to Tang Dynasty, the military deedsafter belonging to Tang Dynasty, he perspective of the northeastern frontierdevelopment of Wu and Zhou dynasties, national policies and evaluation to LIKai-Gu.Chapter One discusses the background of LI Kai-Gu’s life experience anddynasties. The early establishment of the Tang Dynasty, neighboring minoritiescontinued to grow in Sui unrest. Therefore,with the changing ethnic relations andfrequent foreign wars, especially in ethnic relations between various ethnic groups inNortheast, the situation was more complicated. With drawbacks of the mansion armysystem in Tang,the minority soldiers and generals absorbed more attention. there weregroup Soldier, LI Kai-Gu formally accessed to opportunity in this complex situations,by virtue of their "brave, fierce and loyal to the royal family," into TangDynasty.Meanwhile,this chapter introduce the family kinship of LI Kai-Gu.Chapter Two discusses issues related to the process of LI Kai-Gu belonging toTang.LI Kai-Gu participated in Qidan’s uprising (the Ying Zhou Chaos)in the lateseventh century, and he was exploited in the Battle of West and East XiaShi. After thedeath of SUN Wan-Rong and LI Jin-Zhong and LI Kai-Gu defeated to drop, LIKai-Gu was pardoned and granted official DI Ren-Jie’s recommend to Wu Hou Thischapter focuses on LI Kai-Gu in the "Camp State Rebellion" in the role, was pardonedand appointed to reflect the wound causes and national policy issues such as TangTang reuse.Chapter Three is mainly about military deeds in LI Kai-Gu belonging to Tang,thedeath of LI Kai-Gu political change and its northeast frontier of the problems whichreflects in deeds resides in literature. LI Kai-Gu returned after participating in acampaign against the Qidan counterinsurgency and Mohe, in these wars, Li Kai solidvirtue of its superior military prowess, Li repeated military exploits, deeds on theirexpedition that time the situation in Northeast Frontier had a profound impact. Thischapter focuses on LI Kai-Gu’s solid pacification Qidan, campaign role played byMohe and resides in elaborate deeds reflect their military status of the northeastfrontier, the chapter also discusses the death of Li Kai solid embodied in nationalpolicy issues such as the Tang Dynasty. Chapter Four discusses the issues that reflected in the deeds with LI Kai-Gu. Thischapter focuses on the analysis of LI Kai-Gu’s military deeds which reflected socialdevelopment Qidan discussing changes to their deeds reflect the ethnic andideological policies Li Kai solid evaluation of this character.The conclusion of this study is to discuss a comprehensive summary.
