The cave is one of the traditional residential architecture,its internal living spacecompletely relies on manual from the soil excavation, space is a form from the buildingitself, is one of the important forms of Chinese traditional houses on the north.It is a trulyharmonious with the nature of the original ecology of the culture and art forms,and itincludes profound and important the cultural connotation and ecological significance.This article makes a comprehensive introduction to the cave from the architecturalperspective, and then finds the folk custom cultural affairs and traditional culture behindthe cave of shan xi from the perspective of folk culture, from the architectural spacetheory to explore the intrinsic relationship between the cave itself space and interpersonalrelationship.By the end of the research of the cave form description andmotivation,revealing with the development of society, the cave there are changing,especially the space layout, change and adjustment of the relationship between peoplein the cave.This paper includes six parts: the first part is the introduction; the second part is thebody, including from the first chapter to the fourth chapter; the third part is theconclusion of the article.The introduction includes the research purpose and significance, research status athome and abroad, research methods and research innovations.The first chapter exposes historical roots,formation conditions, distribution, internal space layout and characteristics.The second chapter dissects folk cultural of cave from folk culture view.Cavetraditional houses in Shan xi is a unique form of culture in the specific region,it is not only people living habitat, but also contains rich cultural connotation.Andthe decoration art from different degree reflects the people’s spiritual pursuit.The third chapter analyzes the relevance of cave architecture form and interpersonal relationship with sociological perspective by expounding the space theoryand interpersonal relationship theory. Starting with the cave’s original form,analyzing the space dispersion,limited,closed and human alienation limitations,conservative,and finally revealing the inherent relationship between cave space layout and the construction of interpersonal relationship.The fouth chapter describes the existence form of nowadays cave and analyzes thecauses, finally demonstrates that the interpersonal relationship always adjusts andchanges by changes of cave space layout.Conclusion "interpersonal relationship changes under the change of cave",everything always changes and develops, the cave itself is no exception, but as theexistence forms changes, the interpersonal relationship changes,especially the humanindifference and estrangement...
