As prince Zhaoming, Xiao Tong is a prepared emperor of the XiaoLiang dynasty,died only31years old.His life and literary career is short but well-rounded.He isfamous for the creation of Zhao Ming Wen Xuan in the Chinese literature history. Atpresent, the research on Zhao Ming Wen Xuan have become fashionable. By contrast,the individual study of Xiao Tong is relatively weak. Individual research about XiaoTong, general can be divided into three aspects:Zhao Ming Wen Xuan research, XiaoTong’s Literary thought research,Xiao Tong’s literary activity research. And thesethree are not separated, but often be considered as a whole to point with the followingresearch. Research results about Zhao Ming Wen Xuan is rich, but for the other twoparts of research is still lack of a relatively comprehensive and systematic carding,especially the research of his activities. Therefore, The latter two become the mainresearch object in this article.This article is based on the research of the senior scholars and experts,dividedinto three parts:the brief introduction of Xiao Tong,Xiao Tong’s literary thought andliterary activity. The first chapter is the brief introduction of related study on XiaoTong,Xiao Tong’s literary thought and literary activity;The second chapter, for thehuman and literary thought of Xiao Tong, the major point of discussion will besummarized in a variety of similar summarized;The third chapter is to summary hisliterary activities according following two parts:respectively by Xiao Tong’s literarycreation, Xiao Tong and Zhao Ming Wen Xuan; The fourth chapter,first by XiaoTong and Cao Zhi, Xiao Tong and Tao Xiao Tong two parts to analyze literaryactivities in the spirit of our ancestors inherited the estate, and then placed Xiao Tonginto Xiao Shi Sons to explore their relationship with the Palace-style Poetry.
