| Xiao Yi(508--555),styled Shicheng,with seven characters in small letters,entitled Jin Lou Zi,was the seventh son of Xiao Yan,the emperor of Liang Wu.He was also a famous scholar emperor in history.Together with his father Xiao Yan,his elder brothers Xiao Tong and Xiao Gang,he was called "Four Xiao".Southern dynasty,the general development trend of the literary creation is "temperament fade,debauchery is big," the pursuit of literary aesthetic has increasingly become the mainstream of The Times,especially in the south,the late father and son xiao in the literary world leading up the wind of a "new","literature conscious" ideological trend of its height.Under the cultural background,"xiao’s" became the leader of liang literary circles,their creation not only lead late in the development of literature,and after the sui and tang dynasty literature also has important influence.Xiao Yi was a literati emperor with complicated personality in the Four Xiao Dynasties.He was fond of literature and art and wrote a lot.He left a considerable number of poems and literary works in his life.However,the research on Xiao Jing mostly focuses on Xiao Jing and his poems,and lacks the overall study of Xiao Jing in the cultural background of the late Southern Dynasty.Therefore,this paper will set Xiao’s works in the general cultural background of the late Southern Dynasty to investigate and analyze in detail,through the close reading of Xiao’s poems and writings,dig deep into Xiao’s unique contribution to literary achievements and its significance and influence in the history of literature.The introduction part mainly introduces the reason and significance of the topic of this paper,and sorts out and summarizes the previous research results.It is the academic review part of Xiao’s research,so as to comprehensively present the achievements and shortcomings of Xiao’s research.The first chapter introduces Xiao’s cultural background in the late Southern Dynasty.The first section shows the popularity of erudite culture in the late Southern Dynasty and the popularity of the royal family to organize and participate in literary activities.The second section systematically introduces the historical background,policies and measures of Liang Wudi’s revival of Confucianism as well as his own Confucian accomplishment.The third section introduces the system of vassal power and the general situation of literary creation of vassal power.Taking Xiao Liang’s vassal power as an example,it simply sorts out the vassal power and the main scholars of the vassal power.The second chapter mainly discusses Xiao Yi’s personality characteristics and ideological trend.In the first section,through Xiao’s events of "gathering books","loving books" and "burning books" and his competitive mentality with scholars,the author explores his cultural mentality of extreme love of literature and extreme selfishness,and briefly analyzes the psychological causes of his personality formation.The second section and the third section respectively focus on the influence of the cultural background of the late Southern Dynasty,Xiao came up with the academic thought of "Wen" and "Confucianism" and the literary thought of "Wen quality and Confucianism".The third chapter focuses on the analysis of Xiao’s new changes in poetry creation.The first section focuses on Xuanlan Fu,which is less concerned by predecessors,and introduces Xiao’s promotion of the tradition of Shu Xing Fu.The second section shows the artistic personality of Xiao’s palace style poems,including the regional cultural characteristics and the gentle and graceful style of his palace style poems.The third section summarizes the relationship between Xiao’s literary creation and literary thought.The fourth chapter is a study of Xiao Yi and his influence on the Jingxiang Xifu Literature Group.The first section introduces Xiao Liang’s system of coming out as a vassal and Xiao Yi’s political experience in Jingxiang.The second section introduces the Xifu Literature Group formed under the influence of Xiao Yi,and explores the reasons why the Xifu Literature Group is quite large.The third section gives a brief review of Xiao Yi’s writings in the Western Palace of Jingxiang.The conclusion summarizes the influence of Xiao’s literary contributions from the late Southern Dynasty to the Sui and Tang Dynasties. |
