| Along with the development of the ceramic education in china, the spiritual connections as well as the legacy from the tradition Chinese painting on ceramics, the ceramic painting in China Academy of Art has been born since1960’s.However, the concept of contemporary art is the essential in the ceramic painting in China Academy of Art. Based on the interpretation of local culture, it has been generated variety of outstanding ceramic painting artists during the three time periods. They are skilled at choosing different subjects with versatile skills to create artworks, which formed their own styles. Therefore, it enriched the ceramic painting language of the contemporary ceramic art, which has significant influence of the contemporary ceramic painting in China. |
