Analysis On The Pragmatic Negation In The Verbal Humor

In this paper, we set the Pragmatic Negation in the Verbal Humor used in the previousSpring Festival Gala Evening’s Comic Dialogues as the research object，which mainly dividedinto three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.We use the introduction to illustrate the research object of this paper--------the researchof the Pragmatic Negation in the Verbal Humor. Followed by introduction is the researchobject and research problem of this paper. Finally we introduce the research methods of thisarticle, the source of corpus and the research significance.This article consists of four main parts. Chapter I: A Survey.First, an overview of thePragmatic Negation in the domestic research and its status and limitations. Second, anoverview of the Verbal Humor in the domestic and international research and its results andshortage.The second chapter: the research of the Pragmatic Negation used in the CCTV SpringFestival gala. First, according to previous research results and shortage, we give our owndefinition of the Pragmatic Negation in the Verbal Humor.Second, the basic feature of thePragmatic Negation in the Verbal Humor. Third, we make a classification of the PragmaticNegation used in the CCTV Spring Festival gala. Finally, the function of the Negation in theVerbal Humor.The third chapter: the humor construction mechanism of the Pragmatic Negation in theVerbal Humor from the point of deviation theory. Firstly, this paper introduces the deviationtheory and its status. Secondly, the theoretical basis of the Pragmatic Negation in the VerbalHumor. Finally, the deviation theory act on the Pragmatic Negation in the Verbal Humor.The fourth chapter discusses the comprehension mechanism of Pragmatic Negation inthe Verbal Humor. First of all, we introduce the reason of pragmatic negative leading to thehumor effect. Secondly, this paper discusses comprehension mechanism of PragmaticNegation in the Verbal Humor.
