Terry Eagleton is a particularly active marxist critics and a cultural theorist incontemporary British,he has considerable influence in the international.He studies andsolves the theories of Psychoanalysis,Marxism,Deconstruction,etc.His feministliterary criticism has absorbeded the reasonable components of theories.Terry Eagleton,focusing on the present condition of women’s exclusion andoppression,he thinks that women’s back to the edge position is due to the dominanceof male society.He pointed out that the women is victims,excluded and repressed bymen.It is patriarchal discourse construction. Eagleton believes that the liberation ofmankind is ultimately guided by women,he advocated women’s emancipation.Hepointed out that it needs to eliminate gender discrimination and the social systemwhich provides the gender discrimination,demands a female to be her own,anindependent self and a liberated self.Eagleton claims from visual Angle of "physical"this particular broader social, political, and ethical issues,highly affirmed theimportance of the body.He pointed out that "everything is political criticism",and thefeminist literary criticism is a kind of gender politics criticism.Terry Eagleton thinksthat feminist literary criticism is not only the literature criticism,but also a political,class and gender characteristics of criticism.It will help us to better understand the development of feminist literary criticismto study eagleton’s feminist literary criticism,provide a unique perspective and typicalcasesand for the study of female criticism,and it is a new harvest of women’s criticismof marxism.
