Objective:The purpose of this paper is to do research work meticulously about the cultural identity of Xinjiang college students on the background of multi-culture so as to grasp the trend and the value orientation of college students,and put forward and the countermeasures to slove the problem.So that students in multiple cultures have a strong sense of belonging to Chinese culture that would be able to transcend national,regional,language,religious,etc,and increase so lidarity and national cohension of all the national college students.Ultimately,building a strong foundation to prevent the peaceful evolution in the emotional,psychological and ideological of various national students.Mehod:Reviewed plenty of relevant literature,Summareized the relevant theory about Chinese cultural identity aimed to provide a theoretical basis for further research,and then through a questionnaire survey and interviews,obtained first-hand information,and recorded and checked data using EXCEL.All data were processed by SPSS17.0to analysis.Results:The Chinese culture identity of Xinjiang college students is dominant,including the abiliy to understand the Chinese culture basically,and have the higher emotional identity.Meanwhile,there exists the same problem,including cognitive surface,the emotional itself,act utilitarianism.They exists personal problem,also.For example,Part of the minority students agree with "double" in choose, they can identify with Chinese culture, but also with a strong the national culture identity; Part of the han nationality students understanding of the Chinese cultural identity is biased, neglecting to the identity of the Chinese culture.Conclusion:In a multicultural context, it should strengthen the cultural identity of university students in Xinjiang in four aspects:First,to lead the cultural identity of the direction of education by the socialist core value systle; Secondly, to enrich the cultural identity of of education by "pluralism" culture; Thirdly, to strengthen the Chinese culture identity education effect in a flexible way; Last, to improve the education of the identity of Chinese culture, In order to accurately balance the unity between the various cultural and diversity, the realization of national harmony and unity of college students "the national culture identity" and "Chinese culture identity".
