Chinese Modern And Contemporary Fairy Tale Aesthetic Inquiry

As a literary form fairy tale has experienced a long history. Broadly speaking, in theearly stage of human civilization history, the fantasy parts exhibited by human beings invarious forms can be summed up as mind of fairy tale. Fairy tales take children as the mainbody and has the characteristics of fantasy which is convenient for children to read andunderstand. With the help of humor, exaggeration, personification and so on, as the essence offairy tales fantasy reflects real life circuitously and indirectly, and describes fairy tales whichare full of strange and unpredictable plots. The fantasy of a fairy tale has gradually made it anindependent literary form. In this paper, through the analysis of the evolution of differentaesthetic in fairy tales the development regularity of Chinese fairy tales is explored, and thevalue of the literary form of Chinese fairy tale is revealed.This thesis is composed of three parts: introduction, text and epilogue. In theintroduction part the process of fair tale evolution has been explored and then the concept andaesthetic characteristics are researched. The text has three chapters. In the first chapter theform beauty including exaggeration, image and structure in Chinese fairy tales has beendiscussed. The second chapter focuses on style beauty of Chinese modern and contemporaryfairy tales. The narrative beauty of Chinese modern and contemporary fairy tales has beenresearched in the third chapter. In the conclusion part, some problems of China contemporaryaesthetic study in fairy tales are pointed out. Whether traditional or modern and contemporaryfairy tales have significance to the literature and the progress of human society, and fullyreflect the potential impacts on nation and society. So the research of aesthetic in fairy taleswhich helps to keep the direction of fairy tale development promotes the development ofsocial culture. At the same time, the fairy tale writers’ tips for success and children readers’aesthetic tastes are also explored so as to useful writing guidelines for many fairy tale writersare provided.
