The Construction And Publicity Of Applied Psychology Laboratory

Experiment teaching is an indispensable part of Applied Psychology. How to do efficient experiment teaching on the base of using library has always been the problem studied by applied psychology department among the colleges. Enhancing the construction and management of library and increasing the experiment teaching quality is the key subject of all the colleges.Nowadays, the utilizing rate of psychology library is fairly low. And some experiments are just relevant with a few certain instruments. Students of non-psychology profession and psychology profession don’t have an overall and deep knowledge of the experiment instruments, instead, the conventional theoretical research is still taking a lot time and hi-tech and informational instruments are not known thoroughly by us. Therefore, some theoretical analysis and research of the experimental instruments, some instruction of the functions as well as short videos are all the ways to get people professional or not to know psychology instruments quickly, thoroughly and directly, and the utilizing rate will be increasing.This research will start from the development history of psychology library. The current situation and developing trend of college library will be known objectively and clearly through the analysis and summary of construction and management of college psychology library, the thorough statement of the construction of college library and the instruction and application of the psychology experimental instruments.The first part introduce the main instruments in psychology library, like Eye Tracker, Sand Table, Psychological Evaluation System, Virtual Reality System, Biofeedback Equipment, ERP and Electrophysiolograph and so on. We will start from the function of the instruments, and analyze the classification of instruments, operation standard and its application, which make the experimental instruments directly well-known by all the researchers and help to increase the utilizing rate of psychology library.The second part will start from the application of experimental instruments. Twenty students of Shaanxi Normal University are selected to take an eye track test to the new and old page of the university. And the study shows that there is a remarkable difference on notice number and notice time of news area and picture area between the new page and the old one. So the study regards:(1) Picture may interfere with the operation of the user;(2) Graphic combination can attract the attention of the user;(3) Navigation position will affect the user’s search speed.Psychology, part of devices only being suitable for individuals, shortage of group test devices and technology, and many experiments only resulted indirectly and so on. Research shows the current psychology laboratory management should take better service of higher education as the main aim and more genius and more high scientific achievements as the main subject to strengthen college laboratory management, strengthen scientific management of experimental teaching, create a new system of experimental teaching, and meanwhile efforts of strengthening experimental team should be made, trying to open the laboratory thoroughly, and the environment of the laboratory should be in line with the teaching revolution of college as well.
