As the major driving force of social development in the future, undergrads, since they stepped into the college campus, have had to face increasing setbacks and pressure due to various changes of living environment, learning methods, interpersonal socialization and sentimental feelings. Over the recent years, cases caused by life stress have been reported more often, leading more researches about life stress of college students. Under stress conditions, some people can adapt himself to the adjustment of physical and mental status, while others fail to adapt himself to the change. It is because of some mediating factors in each different individual. Former researches have shown that students who acquire positive personality traits are more resilient than others when they face stress. The research of all scale quality aims to figure out how influence on life stress made by all scale quality improve psychological health and positive development of college students, reduce the negative effects caused by life stress and set as reference for the opening of psychological health cause. The thesis aims to analyze how all scale quality mediate the relation between stressors and stress responses, specifically focuses on researching the major life stressors and stress responses of college students and which scale of quality has the most obvious effect in the mediating process.On the basis of the researches of student life stress and literature studies, the thesis adopts empirical research, using SLSI and "All Scale Quality Inventory" to select437people from a random sample in a university in Xi’an. The thesis uses SPSS19.0for statistical analysis and AMOS for structural equation model. The conclusions of the study are as follows:1college life stress levels below the median. The main stressors are self reinforcement and pressure from the reality. Cognitive stress reactions have the highest average score, indicating the strongest cognitive responses of college students under stress.2college all scale quality is slightly higher than the median, among which the levels of academic quality and moral qualities are higher; personality qualities, self-quality, social quality level are lower.3life stressors have direct effects to induce stress responses. The effects on stress responses caused by stressors are significant. 4life stressors have significantly negative influence on the effect of all scale quality, indicating all scale quality has a dampening effect towards life stressors.5all scale quality has significantly negative influence on the effect of stress responses, indicating the quality can alleviate the strength of stress reaction.6all scale quality plays an intermediary role in stress response. The impact of stressors, under the influence of all scale quality, also decreased.
