Constructing Of Topics Bank And Topic-specific Word List For Tourism Chinese On Corpus

With the rapid development of our country, China has greatly enhanced its internationalinfluence, which contributes to a trend of learning Chinese. Every year, many overseas studentscome to China to study; meanwhile, a large number of foreigners come to travel in China. As aresult, the Tourism Chinese has been given much attention and has been studied as a specialChinese. This dissertation attempts to build a Tourism Chinese topic bank and topic-specificword list based on corpora and directed by communication schema, in the hope of givingguidance for daily communication of foreign tourists as well as providing some references forTourism Chinese testing and teaching, textbook compilation and lexicography.This dissertation consists of seven chapters.In the first chapter, the research backgrounds and significances are introduced, the conceptdefinitions are discussed and the research methods are also elaborated.In the second chapter, relevant researches such as Travel Chinese, topic teaching andchoosing, word list at home and abroad are summarized.In the third chapter, the schema theory as the theoretical foundation and the domanialwords clustering system as the technical support are illustrated.In the fourth chapter, the sources of the Corpus are introduced.In the fifth and sixth chapter, the construction process of the topics bank and topic-specificword list are described and compared with HSK (for Tourism) word-list.In the last chapter, a summary is given, innovations and inadequacies are reflected, andfurther researches are blueprinted.
