A Functional Study On Topic Regulation And Speech Component "Ai" In Interaction

Topic is the core content of a conversation,and the conversation among the participants is based on the topic.There are a variety of perspectives on topical research,including syntactic,pragmatic and textual studies.Although there are many studies,the definition of topic is not consistent,and the research on the organizational mechanism of topic regulation based on the interactive perspective is still in the exploratory stage.Most of the literature on the topic function of a certain component is not really put under the topic regulation mechanism in-depth investigation.In the process of conversation,it is of vital importance for both parties to regulate the topic.Topic regulation can distinguish topic shift from disjunctive topic change,and speakers will generally invoke the voice component to play a transitional role in topic regulation.However,existing literatures only generally mention the functional expression of a certain phonetic component or a class of phonetic components under the control of the topic,without clearly sorting out the corresponding relationship between form and function.Moreover,since most written language corpora are not natural interactive,it is difficult to systematically present the function of phonetic components in the interaction.Based on the above situation,this paper intends to study the functions of "Ai",a speech component in topic control,from the perspective of interactive linguistics.Interactive linguistics is a new trend of functional research in recent years;which emphasizes the study of language components in the natural habitat,so as to better investigate the interbreeding relationship between language and interactive communication.Therefore,this paper takes interactive linguistics as the research paradigm,and based on the topic regulation mechanism,analyzes in detail the prosodic difference and the corresponding relationship between the speech sound component "Ai" and the interactive function in different topic regulation types and different sequence environments.On this basis,we try to analyze the part of speech of "Ai" in different prosody,position and function,so as to help people better use "Ai" in conversation.
