Watercolor painting as an independent form, is still its own unique charm toattract numerous artists and the majority of fans. People who love watercolorshave tried to use the freehand watercolor creation, while Chinese watercoloristgood at drawing from the essence of traditional Chinese culture, with uniqueimagery thinking, starting from the spiritual to the form of traditional Chinesepainting freehand to borrow lyric, ambition to make meaning. Ding Sizhong’swatercolor landscapes depict the theme of Huizhou, with high-level overview ofthe shape, color in China in the field of contemporary watercolors and made abeautiful landscape; to abandon the plot and screen content to the salient points,lines, surfaces, colors blocks, composition and other purely formal language ofpainting, express inner feeling, emotions, ideas, Ding Sizhong works both grandand lyrical, in contemporary China formed a new watercolor look.Based on the case study method, Ding Sizhong’s impressionistic watercolorlandscape painting impressionistic language features and to explore the causes oflanguage analysis, to collect information on Ding Sizhong’s Paintings, editor ofpublications and on the basis of the relevant literature, on Ding Sizhong interviewwith the artist, his artistic experience, painting ideas, painting style changes forma comprehensive understanding of the system and analyze its style change theunderlying causes of the formation and external causes.
