Watercolor self into China during the late Qing Dynasty, Chinese watercolordevelopment of the nation’s traditional aesthetic habits can not be divided. Images of thetrend in contemporary watercolor landscapes, is the result of traditional culture and its effects.Watercolor Landscapes for the development of the "image" can be said to stand on theshoulders of giants. In traditional Chinese aesthetics for the understanding of the "image",continuing to this day, we can say is freehand or image of the painting history of thedevelopment. In traditional Chinese aesthetics, the unity of the people’s respect for nature andpeople,"Heaven". That emphasizes the "natural". In fact, since the1980s, China organizedthe first "Chinese Watercolor Exhibition", the artists’ watercolors from the perspective of selfstarting, gradually out of the social context of a single mode of creation, the more the concernof personal angle and real-life relationships, creative form of expression is also increasinglydiverse. To be more precise description of the image of the trend in contemporary Chinesewatercolor landscapes, but also to explore the impact of China’s national art of contemporaryChinese watercolor landscapes, contemporary Chinese watercolor landscapes as the directionof my research, analysis of Imagism basic properties. In the first part of this thesis, mainly toexplain the basic meaning of "image", and its development in China’s traditional culture, andanalyzed from the perspective of Chinese and Western philosophy, differences incharacteristics of Chinese and Western landscapes. The second part of the article, illustratesthe trend of contemporary Chinese watercolor landscape imagery of historical reasons, whichpart of the image of watercolor, a brief analysis of the main features of Chinese contemporaryintent watercolor. The third part of the development trend of watercolor landscape painting infish imagery of the image elements of watercolor. Third, the important content of the chaptersof this paper, the image of watercolor painting in water-based language, concrete structure inthe embodiment of the contemporary image of watercolor landscape abstract factors in thepicture as well as contemporary image of watercolor landscape performance characteristics.In the era of digital information, the art form towards diversified, personalized developmenttrack, the trend of contemporary Chinese watercolor landscape imagery of both accidentaland inevitable. The "image" in the watercolors in the expression of not only the inheritance ofthe national spirit, but also for the development of Chinese watercolor open space, whichmakes the meaning of this article has.
