The Relationship Between Sense Of Coherence, Type A Behavior Pattern And Mental Health In Patient With CHD

Object To investigate the situation of risk factors in patients with coronary heart disease; and investigate the relations among Sense Of Coherence, Type A Behavior Pattern and mental health on patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) for finding their internal mechanism to provide basic material for the biological-psychology-social medical model, which apply effective intervention to patients with CHD.Methods To collect 53 cases, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria for patients with CHD, in two provincial hospitals and one general hospital of cardiology. To know about the lifestyle in patients with CHD through the structural interview, and through correlation analysis and the mediation effect testing method of Zhonglin Wen, we would know the relationship of Sense Of Coherence, Type A Behavior Pattern and mental health on patients with CHD using Sense Of Coherence scale(SOC), Type A Behavior Pattern scale(TABP) and Self-reporting Inventory(SCL-90) and so on. The data will be printed in software of Redcap in the research computer to build up a data management system on the internet, just like the clinical case management in current hospitals.Results It has a significant negative correlation between Sense Of Coherence and Type A Behavior Pattern in patients with CHD(r=-0.396, p<0.01). Type A Behavior Pattern has significant positive correlations with the factors of compulsion(r=0.296, p<0.05), interpersonal sensitivity(r=0.378, p<0.01), depression(r=0.458, p<0.01), anxiety(r=0.366, p<0.01), hostility(r=-0.369, p< 0.01), fear(r=0.287, p<0.05). Sense Of Coherence has significant negative correlations with the factors of compulsion(r=-0.446, p<0.01), interpersonal sensitivity(r=-0.350, p<0.05), depression(r=-0.450, p<0.01), anxiety(r=-0.446, p<0.05), hostility(r=-0.369, p<0.01), fear(r=-0.336, p<0.05), delusion(r=-0.291, p<0.05)and Psychotism(r=-0.281, p<0.05). Type A Behavior Pattern is a good predictor of Sense Of Coherence, compulsion, depression, anxiety, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, fear; and Sense Of Coherence is a good predictor of compulsion, depression, anxiety, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, fear. What’s more, Sense Of Coherence plays a mediate role between Type A Behavior Pattern and depression.Conclusions 1Through the intervention of SOC, from three aspects of cognition, behavior and motivation, to guide patients with CHD to improve the degree of SOC and reduce or avoid the mental problems, like depression, anxiety,compulsion, hostility and interpersonal sensitivity and so on. 2 Through correcting the pattern oftype A behavior in patients with CHD to reduce or alleviate depression, anxiety, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility and other mental problems. 3 Type A behavior pattern in patients with CHD can directly affect the depression, and also can influence indirectly depression by SOC. So CHD patients with depression can be intervened from two aspects, type A behavior pattern and SOC.
