The Study On The Protection Mechanisms Of Guangzhou Maritime Silk Road Historic

Maritime silk road began in Qin and Han dynasties of China, which made outstanding contributions for China’s economy, trade and business corporations and cultural exchanges over the past two thousand years. Guangzhou city is the famous Oriental provenance of the maritime silk road. At present, the world cultural heritage has become an important cultural brand, and will bring a country, a region, or a city a wide popularity and great economic and social benefits. In 2012, Guangzhou municipal government, after five years of unremitting efforts, became a member of China Cultural Heritage Tentative List, together with Ningbo, Penglai, Fuzhou, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Nanjing, Yangzhou, Beihai, and other urban historical sites. Thus, the nine cities joint hand in hand to promote historic maritime silk road to apply world cultural heritage. Guangdong provincial government, and Guangzhou municipal party committee and municipal government seize the opportunity, have decided to speed up the construction of "The 21st Century Marine silk road", to accelerate the cooperation with other applicants.This paper is divided into six parts, taking the application of World Cultural Heritage as the object of study. By the research of the features of Guangzhou Maritime Silk Road Historic Heritage, and the theory of cultural route heritage, the author analyzes the existing problems and advanced experiences domestic and abroad, and studies how to establish the protection system in the aspects of government, societies, individuals as well as the perfection of legal system and the building of talent teams. In the first part, this paper introduced the research background, significance, thought and method. Later on, this article deliberated in detail the concept, background, and protection principles of cultural route heritage and expounded the theory and values of the connotation and time-space range of Guangzhou Maritime Silk Road, as well as the problems existing in the protection of historical sites. On top of this, the paper cleared up the experiences of the protection of cultural heritage both domestic and abroad, and pointed out the significance for Guangzhou. In conclusion, the stated above is where the stress falls in this paper. This paper put forward to establish the protection mechanism of cultural route heritage and the specific processes, such as, related legal mechanism, responsible mechanism with the government taking the leading role and the social organizations the supporting role, feasible motivation mechanism and the building mechanism of talent teams. Finally, the paper advanced the measures and suggestions to promote the establishment of all the mechanisms.
