The Socratic problem of Nietzsche has always been one of the interesting topics in Nietzsche’s thought. In critique of modern scientism,he directly link Socrate with scientism. On the one hand,he think Socrate is "The prototype of the theory of optimism, Scientism’s optimistic attitude for knowledge and the cognitive principles are closely to the Soratic theory of optimism; On the other hand,he think Socrate uses the way of universal definitions and inductive arguments in seeking general knowledge, which has had the extremely profound inflence on the scientism. This paper questioned Nietzsche this view. Through analysing knowledge view of Socrates and he suffere theoretical predicament when using the methods of definition, This paper points out that while in the pursuit of universally valid knowledge of virtue, the"methods of definition"is the main way of his philosophy activities.but he has repeatedly rebuffed in process of seeking virtue of knowledge. It reveals a core of the philosophical problem:if just rely on the principle of scientific knowledge,we can not objectively, accurately, effectively obtain transcental virtue of knowledge. At the same time,in Kant’s philosophy perspective, comprehensive analysisi and discussion of the cause of the problem and theory predicament. It will open a broader interpretation and discussion space for us in Socratic philosophy.
