In China, paper cutting art has a history of over a thousand years and has been an important part of Chinese folk culture, featured by its wide spread, large population benefited and strong folk function. Helingeer Inner Mongolia paper cutting, an artistic flowering created and passed on by working people during their daily life and production, is a form of art from the northern grassland region of China.This paper takes the "Helingeer Inner Mongolia paper cutting" as the research topic, and based on several field researches, it summarizes current inheritance, protection and the status of inheritors and analyzes the artistic characteristics and folk implication of "Helingeer Inner Mongolia paper cutting".
