Research On Films Adapted From Real Life

No artistic forms can be more real than actual life. Events happened in society and the films inspired by them constitute respectively of our life and art. Meanwhile, they provide us with comparable scripts. The author of this paper, thereof, comes up with the concept of “films adapted from real life”. This paper researches the interrelation between prototypes and the adapted films, as well as summarizes the creation rule of this type of films. Apart from that, this paper sees these films as a creation phenomenon and tries to analyze the culture and social logic behind this phenomenon.Real life provides plenty of materials for film creation. If the creators can understand the rule and have good skills, these prototypes will be presented to the audience more completely and artistically. Research on films adapted from real life can facilitate the research of film adaptation theory. Through the analysis of the correlations of real events and films, creators can explore the differences between prototypes and these adapted films, study the general rule and skills of adapting films, and apply these into films creation. This paper will give us insights into the relationship of real life and films, and will also contribute to future adaptations with new thoughts and methods.
