Narrative Research On South Korean Films Adapted From Real Life

Using true accounts as the film’s narrative prototype in the history of world film is not a special phenomenon in the film, along with Korea. However, nowadays the films from Korea which based on true story are nearly becoming a nickname of the brilliant works of Korea films. The favourable film experience of the audience and the powerful realistic influence of the film contribute to film adaptation’s rise to fame.Tracing back to lead causes of its success, one is attributed to the good performance of Korea film itself in artistic creations, the other is inextricably bound to film’s system and ecological environment, both of which neither can exist effectively without the other.Movies are based on real events use true events and true persons as the narration archetyp, modified on purpose through a range of options and creations.For the narrative research on real-life film adaptations from South Korea, First of all,through the Korean film history collection to sort out the development context of Korean movies which are based on real life, and the combination of narratology and film history is helpful to expand and deepen the study of the narrative of the film; secondly, through the exploration of the choice tendency of the narrative archetype and the comparison with the film text to analyze the Korean films adapted from real life narrative ideas,narrative strategies and techniques would help to provide reference for the creation of domestic films; at the same time, South Korea real-life film adaptations for practical issues of concern, thinking and popular manifestation mod provides an example for the cultural attribute of the film and the positive role of society.
