A Study On The Film Adaptation Of Real Events In India Since The New Century

Since the new century,India is a kind of novel genre film adaptation gradually into the audience’s vision-real events,the mumbai hotel,uli: surgical strike,wrestling,dad,"a mother’s revenge","toilet hero","India partner" and so on,the theme of historical issues involved not only concern with interpretation,involving to expose and criticize social problems at the same time,the present complex human nature.Films adapted from real events not only objectively restore the stories that happen in the real world,but also restore the real social status quo of India,focusing on hot social issues in India and causing the audience to think.At the same time,film adaptation based on real life is not only a simple restoration of real events,art is derived from life and higher than life,and the narrative techniques and means of expression adopted by films in the restoration of objective events also have great appeal to the audience,which is worthy of reference in China.At present,scholars have not conducted authoritative argumentation on the adaptation of real events to this kind of film subject matter,and this concept still has certain ambiguity and uncertainty.This paper takes the adaptation of real events in India as the main research object,sorts out the development process of Indian films of this genre,summarizes its content and theme,and summarizes the unique narrative characteristics of Indian films by comparing them with those of South Korea and China.There are five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction;The second chapter mainly makes a general overview of the film adaptation of real events in India,including the development process and the reasons;The third chapter combs and summarizes the content and theme of films adapted from real events in India,and analyzes them from three aspects: social reality,historical issues and human nature.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the narrative characteristics of Indian adaptation films based on real events,and carries out a comprehensive discussion from the three aspects of narrative expression,narrative space and narrative discourse respectively.The fifth chapter is the reference significance and inspiration of Indian adaptation films to the current creation of similar films in China and the development of the future film market.By studying the film themes of adaptation of real events in India,this paper makes up for the gap in the research on the theme of adaptation of real world around the world,and analyzes the reasons why such films in India have attracted great attention from the audience,so as to provide reference significance for China’s film creation and help the development of China’s film industry.
