A Study On Contemporary Chinese Tv Series On Marriage And Romance

Recent years,with the popularity of TV series about marriages,such as Nv Da Dang Jia,Da Nan Dang Hun,Zan Men Jie Hun Ba and so on., the dramas under the theme of marriage among modern urbanites has been followed and discussed by different media and a huge group of audience. My study on the latest popular TV series is to offer some insights in to the production of contemporary TV series on marriage by analysing the creative features and development prospect of this particular genre.Moreover,as a type of creative concept,this kind of TV series has profound artistic,cultural and social implication which worth exploring. Capturing the creative features and examining the development prospect can not only make the content of the TV series more artistic,and sophiscated,but also can produce better contents to attract the audience to gain approval and love from them.Based on the theory of “communication” and “narratology”,I introduce the production of the TV series on marriage,then propose some suggestions and strategies to solve some problems in the production. The first part is an introduction to the background information to justify my choice of topic. The second part is the overview of the production of the TV series of marriage. The third part is the creative features of the TV series of marriage, The fourth part highlights the common problems in the TV series of marriage. The fifth part is the summary and prospect of the TV series of marriage.
