Tang Peng (1801-1844), the famous thinker and poet during the DaoGuang Years of the Qing Dynasty. He was as well known as Gong Zizhen Wei Yuan and Zhang Jilang, who were the most famous poets during the period. Tang Peng was very smart, but his career is not successful. He lived in Beijing for 20 years, and he made friends with many good persons, who had a great impact on the modern Chinese poetry celebrities and the modern Chinese history. So if you want to research the poetry circle and the literary status of Dao Guang years, Tang Peng is a very important poet who you can not ignore. But a long time, the academics always focused on his political ideology, not Tang Peng’s poetry and the group of his friends This paper attempts to make the relationships clear between Tang Peng and his friends, analyze the similarities and differences of the Poetics between Tang Peng and the Statecraft poets groups, understand the impact of Tang Peng’s poetry.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the reason why I want to research the poetry of Tang Peng, the second chapter introduces Tang Peng’life and his poetry book; The third chapter is to study the group of Tang Peng’ friends,which involved in the collation and analysis of the poets groups, the relationships among Gong Zizhen, Zhang Jiliang, Lin Changyi, Yao Ying, Pan Deyu and so on, the huge impact of Xuan Nan Poetry Society during the Dao Guang years in Beijing area. The forth chapter explores the creative and poetic theory of Tang Peng. The last chapter is mainly to make a brief summary.
