During the period of Tang, the Five Dynasties and early Song, Chinese feudal economy began to flourish. In Dunhuang, a dominent city located in the exchanges between Eastern and Western countries, people attached more imprtance to private property for its burgeoning economy. Therefore, this research on Dunhuang property law concepts provide useful experience in developing the legal system.The body of property rights, consisting of Dunhuang Monasteries, noble landowners, and civilian population. The main property in this region in Dunhuang during , three aspects are involved: the ownership of the monastery property, of individual property of the monks and of secular people's property Ownership of property during this period the main use of instruments in the contract to all of the movable property, real estate disposition and transfer of operations to reflect the more pronounced, the use of ownership of the body of property, puts more emphasis, following the threads of the disposal and transfere of the movable property ,in which the separation of instruments, analysis of production reveals the depth of the analysis of the phenomenon of property. The article focused on the interpretation of the concept, to borrow a modern term to benefits of modern property law with a security interest in the property and constitutes a clue to explore the use of his property and wanted to elect a number of litigation cases, the use of case analysis to the people of the comprehensive action to safeguard property rights.In short, the period of Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties and early Song is a significant historical era to study the development of property rights concept in Dunhuang. And the research exerts influence on the understanding of the level of development of traditional civil law, and of the background of modern property law as well.
