Nowadays, a new round of technology revolution, which focuses on information technology, begins a start-up. It has had significant impact on the development of economy, culture, society and many other essential fields. Informatization and economic globalization facilitates each other, deeply changing both product methods and living methods. In such an era of information technology revolution, the current cultural assets assessment methods are not able to satisfy the contemporary cultural industry and cultural products, which are new media and new social network resource with the features of speedy dissemination, enormous implication, broad coverage, strong mobilization ability.In the spirit of explorative experiment and guided by the cultural assets formation elements and value attribute, this essay built the movie product value assessment system in the big data era, which used big data collecting analysis as the tool, based on the mathematical economics models and centered by the theory of the economics of art. Firstly, this essay analyzed the cultural products, which are mainly spread by new technology such as new social media and instant messaging. Furthermore, the essay made explanation to the definition of big data tools. In the end, the author created a movie product value assessment model making use of some mathematical economics methods such as setting criteria, collecting data and regression analysis. Additionally, the author pointed out the new cultural asset assessment method especially for cultural assets in the era of big data.
