Style Of Rhetoric In Xi Jinpingfs Speeches

Since becoming President, Xi Jinping conducted a number of influential speech, these speeches are very special and full of researching value, however,up to now, study on these speeches are not deep enough, especially the number of the study on the rhetoric of these speeches is very small, need to do more further research on the rhetoric of these speeches.This paper takes the 21 articles of speech published in the "people’s Daily" and "Xinhua Daily Telegraph"(from 2012 November to 2014 March) as corpus, respectively, from the words of temper, syntactic choices, rhetorical use of these three areas as an entry point, its rhetorical style of speech and speech were compared with the relevant leaders, trying to summarize the experience of grassroots that leaders can make a speech for reference.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter: "introduction". Mainly from the selected topic purpose and significance, the present situation analysis of domestic and foreign related research, research methods and innovative points,this three aspects to analysis, lay a foundation for later discussion.The second chapter: "the rhetoric style overview".After studying relevant paper, this chapter is divided into three aspects,such as the meaning of style, the meaning of rhetoric style, and the performance of Chinese rhetoric style, elaborating the author’s understanding of style, rhetoric style, and the performance of Chinese rhetoric style.The third chapter: "the rhetoric applied analysis of Xi Jinping’s speech script". This chapter respectively from words, choice of syntactic device and using this three parts to analyze, summarize the Xi Jinping’s speech script characteristic of this three parts.The forth chapter: "Xi Jinping’s speech script rhetoric style and the reasons for the formation ". This chapter aims to summarize the Xi Jinping’s speech script rhetoric style, and summarize the valuable experience for relevant leaders to make a speech. The fifth chapter: "conclusion".
