Psychologist Cattell divided anxiety into state anxiety and trait anxiety, Spielberger summarized previous research and regarded anxiety as a personality trait which is relatively stable and lasting for individuals. At the same time, he also treated anxiety as a kind of state and a more complex process. After Spielberger does a more meticulous division of state anxiety and trait anxiety, the study on trait anxiety is more and more.Attentional bias is that individual shows a high sensitivity to specific information from outside stimulation, at the same time, there also have a selective attention in this process. Previous studies have found that individuals will choose to pay more attention to threatening or dangerous stimulus information and make rapid response in most of the cases, which is an important part of the system of human cognitive processing. Previous studies have mostly focused on attentional bias in trait anxiety individuals.Objective:On the basis of previous studies, this research intend to explore the attentional bias on interpersonal evaluation information in trait anxiety individuals, find out the cognitive processing characteristics and the inherent mechanism of processing bias of high anxiety of individual. On this basis to reduce their overall level of anxiety by the selective training, enables the individual to have a better life, adapt to the society, contribute to the society and achieve self realization.Method: In this study, the participants are high school students in Gu shi County, Henan Province. The first experiment uses 2(trait anxiety type: high, low) x 3(interpersonal evaluation of word: acceptance, rejection and neutral) mixed experimental design to explore the effects of high trait anxiety on interpersonal evaluation information of attentional bias. The second experiment uses 2(trait anxiety type: high, low) x 2(cue types: effective, ineffective) x 3(interpersonal evaluation of word: acceptance, rejection and neutral) mixed experimental design of three factors.The result shows that:(1) individuals pay more attention to negative stimulus information; in the interpersonal evaluation information field, compared with the low level of trait anxiety individuals, high level of trait anxiety individuals more likely to produce attentional bias.(2) high level of trait anxiety individuals produced attentional bias to interpersonal rejected words is attention that the lifting of stay to interpersonal rejected words, namely attentional disengagement.Conclusion: Combining the two experiments, we can draw that the trait anxiety individuals’ antinational bias on interpersonal evaluation information have some relationship, high level of trait anxiety individuals show antinational bias on interpersonal rejected words and attentional disengagement,this is also called attention to the fixation.
