"Close Reading" as a general principle of "the British and American New Criticism," which has rich content and strong operability. It not only had a profound impact on the academic circle, especially played an important role in the literary education of colleges and universities. However, the domestic research on the acceptance and dissemination of text reading method is also relatively weak, especially reflected in the literature of university education.This paper will focus on the literature critique textbooks of domestic universities. Through the positioning of textbooks to "close reading" and selection of theoretical methods, as well as containing narrative mode of writers and so on. Through the deep analysis of the reasons about these variations, then reveals that this not only helps academic literature of the University to reflect on the education, but also helps us to explore the relationship between the introduction of Western Literature and the construction 0f Literary Theory in China.The first chapter, Introduction. By combing the research status of "close reading" in China, then discovery the Communication Research about "close reading" law in the country did not attract enough attention, especially in the literature education system of university and in the field of literary criticism textbooks, almost exists more gaps. Thus, through the relative college literary criticism textbooks, we can examine the text reading textbook method as far as the theoretical value and practical significance in the domestic propagation are concerned.The second chapter, the study about the ontology of "close reading". On the one hand, "close reading" exists rich connotation and strong interoperability; On the other hand, the members’ practices of "New Criticism" pay attention to the work rather than the theory.The third chapter, investigate the variation of "close reading" about literary criticism textbooks of Chinese universities:First of all, It is lacking in connotation and its interoperability: on the one hand, the existence of Specific technology and a single process on a theoretical position; On the other hand, in the choice of the theory and methods, it tends to hold the part as a whole and the dismemberment. Secondly, two modals on the narrative strategy can be adopted containing "inductive generalization" and "the core category", which results in the lack of interoperability.The fourth chapter, analyze the reason of variation in the process of communication, which contains three aspects such as the theory and practice of light weight materials written on literary criticism, particularity of historical and cultural context when accompanied by the introduction, lag translation of criticism practice " on New Criticism". In light of this, the article pointed out that the text should be as close as possible on the preparation of teaching materials in the "New Criticism", restored peruse law richness; at the same time, it should be applied to the literary text reading Education of University, as an important part of the training of students’ reading ability.The fifth chapter, conclusion. We draw a conclusion that "close reading" has certain variations in the spread of universities, which results in the lack of rich connotation and its interoperability, hence, the academic circle should pay attention and reflection. At the same time, on this basis, the issue concerning domestic academic "defense" and "change" should be anchored when we explore how to better introduce western literary theory.
