The Study On Clan Culture Of Ping-Di Yao

The Yao nationality is a minority with a long history, which is classified into four branches by the Yao academic according to the language of pedigree, respectively listed as Mian language branch lines, Hmong branches lines, Kam-Sui languages branches lines, and Chinese lineage mainly with Ping-Di Yao. Ping-Di Yao,which acts as one of Yao branches with high civilization of Chinese, mainly locates on Fuchuan, Zhongshan in Hezhou and Gongcheng in Guilin,Guangxi province. In the research about Yao on Ping-Di Yao, it emphasizes on its origin, history and culture and arts, pays a little attention to research on clan culture weakly. This paper takes ethnic culture from Xinhua township, Fuchuan, Hezhou as a case, trying to analyse transition of Ping-Di Yao clan cultural and change from the 4 parts of formation and development of society, the clan pattern, clan system and its relationship with the community control of Ping-Di Yao clan.The thesis is mainly divided into five parts, the first part primarily retrospectiving the formation and development of Ping-Di Yao clan society and name’s distribution of Ping-Di Yao of Xinhua town, the second part starting to analyse the external signs of Ping-Di Yao clan culture with clan pattern(genealogy, clan Tian, shrine) of Xinhua Township, the third part analysizing the inherent form of Ping-Di Yao’s clan culture by Xinhua Township clan system, part IV describing the impact, value and function of Ping-Di Yao clan culture in the community control, part V being the conclusion, further revealing the existence meaning, content and direction of Ping-Di Yao clan culture.This paper attempts to provide reference for the Renaissance of contemporary clan culture through analyzing the basic overview and to inspect at the papers on the villagers’ autonomy argument order and harmony in the community to build the background, so that research work has broader space and platform. Its relationship to the community control of Yao clan culture.Clan culture just find ways for the development in accordance with modern society, under the condition that we make full use of the advantages of the traditional and take out the useless and obtain the essense, faster and more rural society can promote faster and to build a harmonious community order.
