Globalization, the conflicts of culture pluralistic and the values, has influence in every aspects of ours by economic and cultural. At the same time,in the process of modern revolution of science and technology and the development of science and education, the industrial society makes university education mainly tend to be dominated by science and technology education, the status of humanistic education is falling, so that the humanistic spirit began to lost, the actual status of moral education was under attack. Although in the process of the development, our country academic circles also recognize that to strengthen the school moral education, attaching great importance to the development of people’s moral quality, but it results a state that university education system works low efficiency inside;also the national moral quality and human habits were denounced by development countries in the world wild.Academy, as the ancient social cultural and educational organization of fostering talent people in our country, there are two basic key words, named "moral education" and "culture", the core of the moral education in academy education. And culture means the academy is a part of our traditional culture, to face of the process of globalization and nationalization, understanding, learning, and even try to use the traditional culture, is the effective way of dealing with the other countries’ culture shock.Academy is a private education and cultural organizations that primarily for Chinese ancient intellectuals to have cultural learning, education, communication and academic research activities, because it has the function of fostering talents and research, so it can be called an ancient university. Academy originated in Tang dynasty and flourishing in Song dynasty, continuation in Yuan dynasty, popularization in Ming dynasty and was abolished in 1901, turned to junior, meddle and primary schools. The academy has made preliminary development of Northern Song dynasty, mainly in lecture education; The Southern Song dynasty is represented by Zhu Xi, is close to the master of Neo-confucianism and academy in the credit, with the rise and fall, in the academy for positions, while preaching lectures and developing academic, to make the academic prosperity at that time. From then on, the academies combined with education, academic, with the guidance of masters’ personal charming, affecting students of China’s feudal society generation after generation.The core value of ancient academy is moral education. Based on "knowing ethics", the Song Academy has the ultimate educational purpose of self-cultivating, family-regulating, state-ordering and world-governed. Academies in Song dynasty, especially the Southern Song period during which Zhu Xi had published The Revelation of Bailudong Academy, has perfected traditions of moral education which ensures the continuation and development of moral education in regular curriculum. This article focuses on the moral education objectives in the Song Academy and its practical education system, to investigate the value of Song Academy; furthermore, based on the rational and objective analysis it will explore the history of Song Academy, dig up the fact, clarify issues, pursue the truth; and finally, summarize all the precious experience that would benefit the construction of moral education system in modern colleges and universities. The conclusion of this article is that the Song Academy education heavily emphasis on the importance of moral education and practice, pays attention to model education as well as the conscious of harmonious teacher-student relationships establishment, and stresses the necessities of the favorable environment for moral education.The Academy Mode has came to the end eventually; certain aspects of its policies, teaching objectives and methods can hardly satisfy the practical needs and productions in modern society as well. However, the author who conduct this research, has the purpose to raise conscious of learning lessons from the history of Song Academy in modern colleges and universities through the analysis; meanwhile to provide advice and strategies concerning current higher moral education reform.
