Disquisition On The Character Of The Northern Song Dynasty In Shandong Province

From time immemorial, Chinese offspring attach weight to hometown," Every country and place had its own history ", that is the product of regional culture. Therefore, the disquisition of character not only need thinking of historical science, but also thinking of geographical factors. It has been proven that the regional humanities studies is necessary, outstanding achievements such as The theory of "the guan-long clique" and "Shandong hero" proposed by Chen Yinque, Which open up a new perspective of historical research. This paper focus on the Song Dynasty and limit region around Shandong province. The cause lies in the fact that the Song Dynasty was a dynasty which tend towards boom and gradually had the sign of decadency in the Chinese history; while as the birthplace of Confucian civilization, the Shandong region was full of talents in history, was relatively prosperous in politic, economy and culture, and had an consequential geographical location. Therefore it is necessary to research the history character on that special background.This disquisition takes the Shandong character from biography of "Song Shi" as samples. Through the history material such as the record of history, local chronicles, brief biographical sketch of deceased, epitaphs and so on, and using the method of philology study such as historical documents, textology, chronology, science of proofreading and so on, the paper try to study the commentary section of character in "Song Shi". At the same time, the paper will establish the character in the specific era and local situation, using the method of data analysis on an objective analysis of life dynasties and the geographical distribution. In the end, when discuss and infer the Shandong characters of the song dynasty, which is put in the background of history development, we are trying to know the states of Shandong talents in this period and its time features. On the basis of detailed character and reliable history information, this paper will carry on the special study about the human character of the Song Dynasty in Shandong province, and abstractly summarize the new changes in mental and political field in Shandong in this special history time. At the same time, this paper will set case study about the renaissance of Confucianism and the emergence of neo-Confucianism, and figure the contribution made by Shandong characters in this development process, so as to create the conditions for carrying out special study on regional culture.
