The Research Of Academic History Study Of Wang Guowei’s Ci Study

Wang Guowei has received significant attention for a long time. His magnum opus, Renjian ci and RenjianCihua which come into being a century ago, make an important contribution to Ci study, philosophy and aesthetics. Also, they have a far-reaching impact on fusion of the Chinese and Western literary theory and philosophy. Many scholars have studied these works from different perspectives through the centuries and remain not declined forever. In order to understand the study of Wang Guowei’s Ci study more clearly and completely, the article analyze some related studying achievements according the time clues. Then we can see different scholars’ accomplishments and different times’ academic characteristics in the same period.First of all, the article collects and reviews the background, circulation of editions and commemoration of Wang Ci, analyzes the response and attitude towards Wang Ci under different times background, makes a thorough study on its artistic characteristics and unique style, and shows the value of the preparation to Ci study theory. And focuses on Wang Guowei’s friends’ influence on the Wang Ci and the descendants of scholars’comprehensive study.Secondly, the article discusses the research profile of the classics Ci study theory work of Wang Guowei, RenjianCihua. The research of RenjianCihua through the centuries is divided into three phases, that is the foundationperiod before 1949, which characteristics is pure theoretical research basing on Chinese traditional poetics and aestheticsideology. The exploration period between 1949 and 1978, shows a disadvantageous situation in academe as the special environment, though it has progress and development in some extent. However, you can see some new developments in Taiwan and overseas. From 1980s until now, This period is divided into the 80s and the 90s in two stages, the 1980s corrected the research problems that exist in the second period. A new perspective on this kind of study has been started. In this period, scholars come back to the track of pure academic research, pay attention to digging the huge aesthetic value on RenjianCihua and affirm academic status of poetic and aesthetics in Chines and western. At the same time, they also begin to rethink and summarize some problems which involve into the core problem of RenjianCihua, the discussion on "JingjieShuo".This period, there were several scholars, such as Yuanhui Chen, Jiaying Ye, Fochu Tan and so on, they have opened a new way of thinking. After the 1990s,there were a lot of the research about Wang Ci, Most studies focus on the discussion of " JingjieShuo " and related perspectives and aesthetics, but the vision is more open than the 1980s. This phase also appeared to reflect articles, trying to cool the research of RenjianCihua.At last, the article introduce the research of Ci Lu and Tang Wudai 21 Jia Ci Lu edited by Wang Guowei briefly. They are the early work of Wang Guowei’s Ci study. The discussion and research of scholars only stay in the role on the system of Ci study.
