| The capital site is an important part of the city sites, which has significant historical value and cultural value. The capital site without capital’s social function is still vital. It has great significance, grand scale, rich connotation. So the capital site meets the display conditions. This paper attempts to divide the capital site into two categories, according to Capital class site and capital city center geographical relationship. one is located in the center of Urban construction, the other is outside of it. In this paper, the second kind of site is the main object of the study. it locates more remote, and is no longer used as the capital. therefore the site’s structure is relatively clear. Mingzhongdu site belongs to this type. Through analyzing the Mingzhongdu site’s presentation, the paper aims to explore the kind of site’s Problems and solutions in the Presentation. and enrich the theory and method on the Presentation of Sites.First of all, with the research theory and principle of the heritage site, The paper summarizes both the display mode and method, and analyzes the examples at home and abroad of the heritage site. Secondly, analyzes the characteristics of the capital site, mainly summarized as " space ", " symbolic ", and " change ", then through these three aspects to discuss the capital site’s display problems. Again, mainly in the Ming Imperial Gucheng site as an example, this paper discusses the method of site show from space, symbolic, volatility. discusses the method of site. In the specific analysis, the article analysis the most appropriate way of display, basing on the present situation of archaeological achievements and literature research and the preservation of site. the appropriate way should be selected to expose the site’s complete content, by means of in-depth excavation of the heritage value, and with no- damage to the site as base.
