Content The four-character idioms is an ancient Language Form,it has played an important part in the development in the history of Chinese.Over the years, this language form increasingly attracted more and more attention of the experts and scholars.This text refers to the four-character idioms existing in the dialect area of Hebei province and Beijing mandarin area,which are recorded in the 《 Chinese dialect dictionary 》.This text investigates and settles the four-character idioms of Yutian dialect,then selects 309 four-character idioms. According to the structures of four-character idioms,we divide them in different parts.Using the means of experimental phonetics,we study the adjunct-four-character deeply.In the same time,this text investigates the four-character idioms of Yutian in Syntax and Semantics,in order to analyze the essential characteristic of four-character idioms of Yutian and provide some valuable information to the research of four-character idioms.The first part,introduction.Summarizing the object of this text. According to the researches of the experts and scholars,we elaborate the important of this text in filling the vacancy and finding a new mean of the research of four-character idioms.Then we introduce the emphasis、difficulty and the research method.The second part,analyze the our-character idioms in synchronic point of view.Firstly,introduce the past studies of the history of Yutian and the localism of Yutian.Then,according to the overlapping relationship,analyze the symmetry of the four-character idioms of Yutian in syllable alignment and the match of initials and finals.Thirdly, according to the structures of four-character idioms,summarize the diversities and hierarchy of the four-character idioms of Yutian.The structures including composite、overlap and adjunct;the composite includes the structures of coordinating、subordindate 、 subject-predicate 、 verb-object. Finally,analyze the features of adjunct-four-character idioms in metre.We find that adjunct-four-character idioms are very active,they are productive 、 frequently-used and flexible.Through using the affixes repeatedly and ading meaningless morphemes, adjunct-four-character idioms have more distinctive features in rhyme. And this is an important part in this text.The thirdly part,linguistic data,indicate that the adjunct-fore-character idioms are very different from the others.Their Semantics structure is different from rhythm structure.That is,the root morpheme occupys more time than the affixational morpheme in a rhythmic unit,which causes the affixational morpheme become shorter and lighter.In the closed flow of speech,the tone of root morpheme is affected by the affixational morpheme,then the tone of root morpheme has a new change that different from the general phonetic changes.In this section,we will count the specific tone pitch,interpret the regular change of the tone pitch,and explain the reasons for this change.The fourth part,in grammatical function and semantic features, the four-character idioms of Yutian dialect is equal to the mandarin,and they can be divided into nominal、verb 、 adjective and adverb.The amount of different type is different,there are more adjective and adverb,less nominal and verb.The four-character idioms of Yutian dialect can be used as subject、predicate、object、attribute、adverbial and complement.In this part,we analyze the semantic structures,then summarize the semantic features of the four-character idioms of Yutian dialect in the The practical application.
