"The Records in Beili" is a literary sketches about the female entertainers(geisha) of the late Tang dynasty, in the book, it describes the female entertainers’ livelihood and the relationships between writers and the candidates of the scholar in the years of Tang dynasty Qian Fu. And also recorded a large number of writers, Geisha’s poetry, it proves a lot of materials for we to understand the status of the Tang Dynasty, the late Tang marketplace culture and poetry. We will further interpret "The Records in Beili" based on analysis this article references some relevant information and research the geisha system which reflects, what’s more, we will discuss why it is a valuable novel, then about the impact on future generations.It includes four chapters: The first chapter, mainly on the significance of this topic, purpose, and domestic and foreign research status and issues of innovation. The second chapter is about the writer and also the edition of "The Records in Beili”, through collecting materials we will finally figure out the life of Sun-qi, and the comparison of the various versions of “The Records in Beili”. The third chapter based on the content of "The Records in Beili", the analysis contained in the living conditions of the geisha, and their property, and what leads the Geisha industry to flourish. The fourth chapter we discuss the literariness of this article from theme, characters, story and aesthetics of poetry. The fifth chapter discuss the very influential to the later generations from the citations of “The Records in Beili” and the creation of Geisha novels.
