| Global ecological problems occurring frequently lead to deepening concern about ecological environment by all sectors of community, ecological crisis time has come. The generation of culture has a regional difference, the regional culture of the Wu ling mountains area closely linked to the special natural environment in this area. The high mountains and dense forest, good natural ecological environment breeds gorgeous local culture. The Wu ling mountains area writers under the influence of local culture and natural environment have a strong sense of life and genuine love for all things in nature. They with their perspective of cherishing life and caring for nature depict a beautiful image of people animals and nature live in harmony. This paper is divided into five parts. The introduction part illustrates the writing background of this paper, the research’s present situation of eco-consciousness in Wu ling mountainous area writers’ fiction, the research goal and innovation of this paper. Chapter I write from the special natural environment of Wu ling mountainous area, first make a geographical definition of Wu ling mountains area, an overall summary on the natural landscape of the region and the folk customs under the special natural environment, then explore in Wu ling mountainous area writers’ motivation for ecological creation in novels. Chapter II discusses the eco-consciousness in Wu ling mountainous area writers’ fiction in detail from worship nature, feminism and animal protection three broad areas. Chapter III expounds the impact in the writers, the general readers, and the socio-economic caused by the eco-consciousness in Wu ling mountainous area writers’ fiction. Epilogue is the conclusion part of this paper that fully discusses the eco-consciousness in Wu ling mountainous area writers’ fiction.
