The Generation And The Characteristics Of The Soviet Red Classics

As a product of the October Revolution of Russia, the Soviet Red Classics is the mainstream of the Soviet Union Literature. Due to the literary and political power, It not only inherited the tradition of Russian literature, but also has a unique "red". Because it was affected by the political relations and the function of the law of literature, our academia field has experienced a mixed evaluation process. In the 1990 s, there was a heated discussion about whether the book "How the steel was tempered" was valuable or not. The Soviet Red Classics attracted the attention of the researchers again.This article studies on the generation process and characteristics of the Soviet Red Classics based on a close reading of the text with reference to academic common vision for the Soviet Red Classics,which according to the works of Gorky, Fadeev, A ? Tolstoy.This whole article divides into three parts. The first chapter discusses the formation of the Soviet Red Classics background which according to the needs of Soviet regime new culture construction and the revolutionary intellectuals’ experience. The second chapter mainly talks about the works of Gorky and Fadeev to prove that the Soviet Red Classics continues the characteristics of humanitarian care in Russian literature as well as religious color. The third chapter focuses on the "red" characteristics of the red classics. It decomposes the generation process of workers, peasants and soldiers in the Soviet Red Classics. It also discusses "red" characteristics of the Soviet Red Classics from the "revolutionary utopia" and "the disappearance of the individual sounds" two dimensions. The paper tries to contact the relationship between the social environment and work to demonstrate the influence of traditional Russian literature on the Soviet Red Classics and the participation of red political power in the Soviet Red Classics which points out the valuation of the Soviet Red Classics in today’s society.
