Morality Towards Life:a Study Of Modern Western "Anti-Theory" Thoughts

Life is the basis of moral existence, it is also the basic form of morality. Moral value and existence depends on life, for life is the fundamental task of moral development. Without life, morality has lost its vitality. The development of moral depends on the promotion of people’s subjectivity, so we should give priority to "human life", and fully consider the moral practical characteristics. However, some moral theorists excessively high the role of moral theory, making moral development deviated from the people’s life, in a state of alienation."Anti-theory" as a special modern western ethical community "voices" once appear to cause a heated discussion in western academia. The ideological trend of "anti-theory"is under the social background of the current western theory of moral crisis, it focuses on individual differences and the social environment, it focuses on the criticism of the abstract, general moral theory, criticizing the moral theory of logical reasoning form, against using common moral theory to guide the moral practice and moral behavior. This article is about the thoughts of modern western theory of anti-theory comprehensive elaboration, it deeply analyzes criticism of the moral theory by anti-theorists, the method of "anti-theory" thought and the relationship between "anti-theory" and virtue ethics, and tries to analyze its rationality and limitations, repositioning the role of moral theory and moral principle, and try to put forward a correct moral theory development path."anti-theory"is a new research Angle of view about moral theory, it leads us to re-examine the current moral development path, to reasonably view moral theory and moral principles; it guides the moral development return to "human nature", returning "realistic life world". Without the critics by anti-theorists, the construction of a pure theoretical morality is empty, and it can’t guide the reality life and practice, and lead people to think about the fundamental problem of life; however, if we completely abandon the theory and principles of morality, it is not practical operability, leading to chaos in the moral life.
