Study On The Art Language Of Du Dakai’s New Ink Painting

From the pre-Qin period to modern times, the Chinese art masters emerge one after another and each era has its own representative ink painting language, especially in Spring and Autumn and Warring state period and Wei, Jin, South and North Dynasties. In the confusing contemporary art circles, Du Dakai always keeps a middle ground and insists on the pursuit of contemporary, China and himself, without being bound by western art thoughts and arguing about the rights and wrongs of transmission of traditions.This article compared and unscrambled the art language of Du Dakai’s new ink painting horizontally and vertically with the main thread of Du Dakai’s new ink painting art language and the secondary clue of comparing the art language of Du Dakai with the contemporaries.In order to objectively and timely known the new ink painting spirit and painting language of Du Dakai,We appear the new ink painting skills 、visual effects and painting mind by Du Dakai’s new ink drawings.First of all, this article, from the aspect of intention, introduced Du Dakai’s life experience in early years and his diligent pursuit of art. Then this paper showed the art spirit of Du Dakai’s new ink painting, his attitude of critically inheriting Chinese traditional painting, his innovative understanding of Chinese painting spirit and the influence of Confucian and Taoist ideas of Du Dakai. During the communication with foreign countries, Du Dakai grabbed what he need from the western culture and shaped the style of his personality. And then, from the aspect of new ink painting art language, it presented Du Dakai’s painting “identification”: ink line, color and light ink; painting elements of modernity and life: umbrella, poles, automobile, etc; new ink painting style: decoration, comprehensive design and optimum application. At last, this article concluded the aspirations of contemporary art, as well as Du Dakai’s positive impact and dialectic example on this kind of aspirations. Du Dakai’s new ink painting language, which formed by decoration and design of Interdisciplinary application, is the lead of art circles.
