How The Chinese Traditional View Of Heaven And Man Into Ecological Aesthetics

In the 1990 s, in the content of ecological crisis and ecology’s human translation, ecological aesthetics has been put forward by our country’s ecological estheticians. Ecological aesthetics based on "ecological ontology" which includes deep ecology, existentialism and the traditional Chinese philosophy. After more than 20 years of development and innovation, ecological aesthetics trends to be better.In the theory of ecological aesthetics, the relationship between human and nature is the core problem. And in the view of the Heaven and Man, there are a lot of discourse about the relationship between human and nature. This paper starts with the Chinese traditional view of the Heaven and Man; makes a discussion about Chinese traditional view of the Heaven and Man has an effect on the construction of ecological aesthetics and the solution of ecological crisis. One of the ideological roots about ecological crisis comes from some misunderstandings of the modernity. There are three features in these misunderstandings: widely known instrumental rationality, anthropocentric, conception of nature in materialism. In order to overcome the misunderstandings of modernity, we must give up mindset of western culture; otherwise we will end up with failure. For example, western ecological ethics lack of its own ethic dimensions, so it can’t find ways to accommodate the others. It makes the others won’t be able to establish their own position. As a result the ecological ethics can’t resolve the natural positions. Both in mind and behavior the Chinese traditional view of the Heaven and Man can keep human established a friendly relationship with nature. Now the view of the Chinese traditional culture has attracted the scholars’ attentions. But in terms of current research the ecology interpretation of Chinese classical thoughts can’t combine the classical ideas with the solution of the ecological crisis. In the construction of ecological aesthetics and the solution of ecological problem exists a simplistic tendency.The purpose of Ecological aesthetics is the solution of ecological crisis, so when we use the Chinese classical thoughts, we should build a convincing scientific ecological theory. But the ancient Chinese view of Heaven and Man is built on a series of assumptions, it lacks scientific demonstrations. If we simply apply the ancient theory integrate into the modern, it will be bad for us to solve problems, even fuelling a bad academic atmosphere. Thus, this paper mainly discusses these problems: how to propose the ecological aesthetics; whether the view of Heaven and Man can solve the current increasing serious ecological crisis or not; how to use the view of Heaven and Man to build ecological aesthetics. Based on these, the paper is divided into three chapters: the first chapter is how ecological aesthetics was put forward? The second chapter is the plight reason and solution of the ecological aesthetics. The third chapter is the conversation between the ancient Chinese view of Heaven and Man and ecological aesthetics. Combing the development of Heaven and Man, and then to discusses how the view Heaven and Man be of value to ecological aesthetics.In a word, according to ecological aesthetics, keep the ecological balance and protect the ecological environment is not only to maintain the survival of mankind or fulfill the duty of human beings; it is also a kind of beauty to enjoy life, and it can bring spiritual pleasure and happiness; it’s also a solid foundation which can help human to solve the ecological crisis. On this basis, Integrating the ancient Chinese view of Heaven and Man into the ecological ethics will make it more highlight its value in theory and in practice.
