Comparative Study Of The "Ideal Type Of Women Image" In Shi Zhecun’s And Kawabata’s Works

Throughout Shi Zhecun’s novels, female images can be found everywhere, they are or pure, or sexy, or unfortunately, relative to the works of the male image, Shi Zhecun leaves more praise and sympathy for the women. In kawabata’s works, the men just play a role in "foil", though they are still no, have ceased to live. kawabata put more beauty, love and compassion to women, kawabata is the woman’s sad sympathizer, and soulful singer in feminine beauty. Shi Zhecun and kawabata shaped a series of female images, and to love themselves, filled in for the ideal of life, these women from trying to dig up their love and beauty, chat to comfort themselves in the reality of sadness and regret.Today’s academic circles mainly see Shi Zhecun and kawabata as representatives of the new feeling of the comparative study from the perspective of genre in their creative thought and creative methods. In this paper, I will use parallel research method, talk about the similarities and differences of ideal type of female images in their works, and find the reasons.This thesis mainly divided into three chapters, the first chapter is a brief overview, talk about the ideal type of women in kawabata’s and Shi Zhecun’s works, there are two types: ideal type of women on their personal feelings ideal pure maiden, placed their life ideal with self consciousness of female image. The second chapter mainly comparative analysis respectively and ideal type of women image in the works of kawabata similarities and differences. In Shi Zhecun’s works the girls are pure and beauty, but they are just the product of "memory", they are in men in real life has been in a state of "absence";In Kawabata’s works young girsl have a natural beauty, and they are real lies men in real life. Shuzhen,Axiu and Juzi, they are all have self awareness, full of resistance properties of women.Shuzhen, Axiu show mainly against the flow of the patriarchal, Juzi is primarily a struggle with fate. The third chapter is to explain their author’s ideal type of female image difference reasons: one is the writer aesthetic tendency is different, the other is the differences between Chinese and Japanese literature.Shi Zhecun and kawabata are writers that at the same time, they draw lessons from the west in creation technique is rooted in its traditional at the same time, they are the pioneers of The Times, they are the tradition of attachment. Through the comparative study of their ideal type of women images, we can have a better understanding on Shi Zhecun and kawabata.
