The Exploration On Memorials Of Qing Dynasty On Taiwan

Memorials, is a Characteristic document which is wrote by servants and hand it to the emperor on Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty memorials about Taiwan were written by the officers who guard the Taiwan according to the situation of Taiwan. It included bandit suppression, wars, officers’ promotion or impeachment, farming, people’s livelihood, irrigation works, National relationship and so on. Which were appeared a large number of new words, dialect and the words that do not collected in the dictionary. It is worth with us to do further study use of the high corpus value of memorials’. So it is help to riches Chinese vocabulary study and knows the Taiwan dialect and laws of institutions of Qing Dynasty further.This thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction part mainly introduces the origin of the subject, the significance of the research and the methods. At last, it analyzed and summarized the research current situation on the basis of collection of materials.The first chapter is collates the mistakes of the Qing Dynasty memorials from three facts which are collating scripts, punctuation, lack of and superfluous words.The second chapter shows the values on compiling a dictionary. The Han Yu dictionary did not collect all words during the process of compiling. It inevitably lose some words and lots of valuable documents have not been using. But still a large number of materials had been ignored. So we make a contrast between the Chinese Dictionary and the memorials of Qing Dynasty on Taiwan, which could display and supplement The Chinese Dictionary.The third chapter mainly collates and deciphers the memorials of Qing Dynasty on Taiwan from secular character. It corrects the words from the evolution. The memorials were written by the different officers. So it is usually happened that some secular characters dues to the different script. What’s more, the coarse writing, dialect had leaded to the writing damaged in time. It is usually happened that the editor mistakenly recorded uses to unknown the secular characters. So it is necessary to do more study as an important chapter.The fourth chapter makes a conclusion. And it was stressed the importance of memorials of Qing Dynasty on Taiwan again.Memorials, is a very important type of official dispatch in ancient China. It was produced on Qing Dynasty. Memorials of Qing Dynasty on Taiwan own an ignored status. Its linguistic value is inestimable. I hope that the academic circles can recognize the great value, and do in-depth research. So that it can play its proper academic value.
