Social media is a new media form based on Web2.0 technology, is refers to the social media or social media audience, support reverse upload, fundamentally change the information dissemination process and technology website. Social media is not only has the numerous audience, but also have the characteristics of spontaneous communication, timeliness, openness, interactivity and focus features such as. The development of social media in China is rapidly, and college students have become the main force in the audience. Social media brings convenience to college students.Some students chat with people in the social media, but they do not know what to say in reality. Implications for the use of inquiry of social media on college students, this paper designed three studies: Study one on the basis of open questionnaire survey, literature review, put forward college students theoretical hypotheses of social media use, and as a basis for preparation of College Students’ “Social Media Usage Questionnaire”(SMUQ). Study two use the college students’ “social media usage questionnaire”, the “Social Support Rating Scale”(SSRS) and the “Social Anxiety Scale”(SAS), to explore the relationship between usage of social media,social support, and social anxiety of College Students. Study three using the SMUQ and the emotion priming experiment paradigm to explore the college students who use of social media in different degree wheather have a different reaction time. The results showed as follows:(1)The self-designed College Students’ Social Media Usage Questionnaire includes 5 dimensions, which are the degree of control, access to information, interactive experience, peer support and self display. The results show a rather good fit between the data and the model. It is quite reliable and valid for measuring the college students’ social media usage.(2)Collage Students’ social media use degree and social support can directly predict a certain degree of social anxiety. Furthermore, the two factors of the degree of control and interactive experience two factors in the SMUQ has an indirect effect to the social anxiety.(3)The emotion priming experiments shows that the college students who have a high level in the usage of social media may have a longer reaction time than the ones who have a low level in the conditions of difference emotion valence.
