Outside The Box——study On The Art Of Cross-border Phenomenon

This article concluded and sorted the value and meanings of cross-border art for presenting a full view to readers. For a long time, in many rising categories of arts, more and more artists and creators could not be satisfied by their own specific areas. They broke through their own formulas, dipped into other realm of art and explored new starting point on creative practices, ideas and usage of material. They created works of further artistic performance by cross-border cooperation. Cross-border art is a result of multi-area integration. Such aesthetic way offers infinite space for multiform opening art and creative thinking, and hastens evolution of art form.The article used artistic cross-border phenomenon as entry points; combined research methods including case study and macro examination; discussed the status of cross-border in artistic area, to draw a basic rational judgment and clearly positioning on artistic cross-border phenomenon in a relatively authentic way.Meanwhile, the article analyzed artistic cross-border manner, and interpreted the rationality, inevitability and cooperation methods of the existence of cross-border phenomenon. This work is trying to find potential factors behind them, clarify cross-border cooperation ways and derivative features, dig deeply and analyze the meaning and value of cross-border cooperation. Cross-border has practical significance on enlighten unbelievably brilliant sparkles of two elements nothing to do with or even against each other. Artistic cross-border would lead to wider range of artistic concepts and more abundant art language.Any artistic cross-borders have their basis. Since one art form became highly matured, artists laid the foundation in their own areas, and start to think differently depending on cross-border to bring forth the new through the old.The article sorted the dialectic relationship between artistic cross-border and artistic boundary, and put forward the idea that immature cross-border would not be useful for art development.
