The most outstanding characteristics of anthropology is to study others and comparative cultures. Anthropologists’researches are always taken as a practice process. Culture is expressed through field work and ethnography as what’s mentioned in Clifford Geerts’local knowledge concept that culture is different local explanation system and the scenes where people live in and sign culture system makes up our explained life. The ritual of Jiu Caiping tomb in Qadiriyah is a culture sign of Hui people. This article is doing a further discussion on the forming of local Sufi Menhuan and the social function and adaptation research of its ritual through the research on the rituals of Jiu Caiping Tomb.This article comprises of 4 chapters, namely cultural and geographic environment where Jiu Caiping Tomb formed, the rites of passage of Jiu Caiping Tomb, rituals under Sufi theory and the function and commissioning of rituals. This article discussed the objective conditions of Sufi theory to form in Jiu Caiping area based on cultural and geographic background review in Jiu Caiping area and historic documents; meanwhile, the inherit history of religious leaders of Jiu Caiping tomb in all ages was connected to illustrate the subjective reason for Sufism to form in Jiu Caiping area. In the following, through the survey and research of daily rituals in Jiu Caiping area, the author verified the "liangshijiqing"saying followed by Islamic disciple. And then goingxiu ritual in Jiu Caiping tomb was further studied. Gongxiu is one of the most important rituals in Jiu Caiping tomb area. The ascetic system in Qadiriyah is exceptional from other Menhuan. The core and ritual of menhuan is more about daily secularization ritual beyond Islamic belief.Anthropologists are always keen to research on religious rituals because rituals are the external expression of an ethnic culture and it can be the primitive accumulation for ethnography research. The development and succession of an ethnic culture can be seen in the religious rituals. Through the field survey and record research on ritual memory in Jiu caiping area, this article dig the metaphor function behind each ritual and illustrated the process of each ritual function to adapt modern challenges.
