A Study Of The Rituals About Taoists Respect Their Teachers

From Han to Tang Dynasty,Taoism matured the rituals of Taoists respect their teachers,which change from that people respect their officials to later children respect their parents.The reasons are numerous,Taoism itself,society,politics,economy,culture and some other aspects.There is a lot of reference material which involved Taoists' life.For a relatively clear understanding,this paper is divided into five chapters:Introduction:The purpose and significance of this study,previous studies of rituals about Taoists respect their teachers.The first chapter:Explain the origins,evolution and reasons of the rituals about Taoist respect their teachers.The second chapter:The rituals that Taoists take eminent Taoists as their teachers and teachers teach Taoist.The rituals that Taoists accept "fulu"(??)and "jingjie"(??)from their teachers.The third chapter:The rituals in Taoists' daily life which are included in address,eating,dressing,talking,sitting,lying and tripping.The fourth chapter:The rituals about Taoists' funeral in Tang Dynasty,which include Caring about the dying Taoists,holding funeral ceremony and mourning for the dead.
