Study On Epitaphs Of Han Yu And Liu Zongyuan

This thesis is divided into three parts, Carding the situations of Epitaphs about Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan, And from the different aspects to comparison the literature characteristics.on the basis of this,Summary the literature contribution and the data value of Epitaphs of Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan.Han Yu wrote 66 papers epitaphs in total,Liu Zongyuan wrote 63 papers epitaphs in total. Analysis the owner of Han Liu’s epitaphs, We can see that the main differences is the owner’s social identity, Liu Zongyuan created a number of the lower level government officials and civilians, But the lord of Han Yu’s epitaphs is generally upper VIPs and the nobility.on the basis of comprehensive analysis,To explore the causes of the differences.Two tomb inscriptions have similarities and differences in the literary characteristics. This paper discusses the same literary characteristics of their epitaph from two aspects:the subjective feelings infiltrate into the epitaphs and reform the inscriptions.Different characteristics are mainly shown in four aspects:The article structure,The expression of emotion,the selection tendency and the shape of women characters.Literary contribution of Han Liu’s epitaphs mainly shown in three parts:the first literary contribution is the ancient literature theory introduce into epitaphs which has fixed pattern style, developed the dispersion of tomb inscription language, and make the tomb inscription take care of the social reality, which begin to has substantial content.The second literary contribution is that Liu Zongyuan used his literary creation increased the species of epitaphs. The third literary contribution is the development of the writing art about characterization in epitaph. The data value of Epitaphs of Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan is mainly shown in two parts, The first part is to confirme the religious situation about the Tang dynasty,The second part is the supplement of the history record.This paper is divided into three chapters to research the epitaphs of Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan, played a data sorting value, combined with the Han Liu’s tomb inscription on the similarities and differences of in-depth analysis of their literature characteristics, Mining the literature contribution and the value of documents about their epitaphs.
